Oovie Interactive Movie to debut at Venice International Film Festival
Every great musical composition holds a vision, an imaginary world expressed by composers and musicians through music. Geneva based OOVIE Studios, brings this to light with an Interactive AI Movie born from musical interpretation and brought to life in real time, evolving with every live performance. OOVIE Studios‘ approach draws inspiration from Disney’s animated film Fantasia, whose iconic tagline “Music to see, images to hear” poetically captures the essence of this experience.
LIVE MUSIC. LIVING FILMS. are concerts meant to be experienced through both hearing and sight. The performance will feature Maxim Vengerov, one of the most acclaimed violinists in the world, together with LaFil Milan Philharmonic conducted by Marco Seco. They will perform Tzigane by M. Ravel and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5. During this exceptional concert, the audience will witness for the first time a groundbreaking performance: an interactive AI movie created by OOVIE Studios in collaboration with Dustin Hollywood and Reza Sixo Safai, regarded as two of the most innovative AI artists on the global scene.
Venice Premiere to spark tour
This Venice premiere is the first stop of a tour continuing September 7, 2025, at the Trieste Festival (Generali Convention Center) and October 7–8, 2025, at Piccolo Teatro Strehler in Milan.
“The creative use of Artificial Intelligence in cinema and other art forms is undoubtedly one of the most fascinating, and still controversial, challenges of our time,” said Alberto Barbera, Director of the Venice Film Festival. “That’s why I was immediately intrigued and fascinated by the proposal that places OOVIE Studios and LaFil at the heart of an innovative project that unites cinema and music in not only unprecedented ways but also with great interest and immense potential. I’m truly curious to attend the international premiere of this concert, which fittingly takes place in Venice during the Venice International Film Festival.”
OOVIE Studios is a startup founded by musicians and entrepreneurs Riccardo Acciarino, Marco Seco, Lorenzo Ramon, Giulio Casagrande, and Ignacio Palladino, to innovate how we experience music, extend also to the entertainment and brand experience sectors. This project, created in collaboration with MASSIVE Studios, redefines the relationship between music and image, blending live musical interpretation with AI-generated video production, a live performance that fuses art and technology. Creativity and inspiration stem from the humanity of the artists, while AI becomes a tool at their service, amplifying the concert experience. The result is an AI movie that follows the music, interacts with it, and generates ever-evolving narrative paths.
Innovating media experiences
Contacted by Startupticker.ch, CEO and cofounder Riccardo Acciarino tells us that the new interactive movie is a commission and a showcase. “This series gives our MVP development a clear timeline and a high-caliber stage to show what our AI Artists can do, and how technology can serve music and culture. Even before the first performance in Venice, just having the series on the calendar helped us secure collaborations with major tech, fashion, and commercial brands. So, the cultural stage accelerates both our product and our business.”
Oovie Studio creates Interactive AI Movies, films that change every time you watch them, shaped in real time by live music and human interaction. The CEO adds: “In plain English: we make films that listen.”
From Venice to the World
In the very near term, Oovie Studios will be closing its pre-seed round with a select group of strategic, high-profile investors. “We’ll roll out our next commercial activations in markets where the need is already proven brand activations and classical music.” In parallel, the Geneva studio intends to grow its international footprint through press, partners, and an omnichannel strategy, using the Venice Film Festival as its launchpad. “And we’re holding ourselves to a clear metric: within eight months of incorporation, generate revenue at least 50% above our initial setup investment, driven entirely by the development and commercialization of our MVP. “
